"I really like the PlasmaBlade over the Harmonic blade for breast reconstruction and cases where large flaps of tissue have to be raised. The PlasmaBlade coagulates and cuts through the tissue effortlessly without need for much of pressure on the tissue. The Harmonic blade requires more pressure and tension on the tissue which at times cause shearing of smaller vessels and bleeding prior to complete coagulation. For large flap dissections the PlasmaBlade is more efficient than the Harmonic blade."
"I just saw the patient who had the bilateral total capsulectomies and breast implant removal using the PlasmaBlade from last week. She did fabulously well and as you predicted the amount of postoperative pain was minimal. She took only one pain pill after her surgery and at one week is singing my praises!"
-- Paul Milberg, M.D., Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Diplomate of The American Board of Plastic Surgery, Private practice, Tarzana, CA
"Because the PlasmaBlade cuts at a lower temperature than traditional electrosurgical devices, it reduces collateral tissue damage and scarring, which is important for patients undergoing plastic surgery procedures."
-- Howard L. Rosenberg, M.D., plastic surgeon and former chief of surgery at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif.
"Because the PlasmaBlade operates at such low temperatures there is significantly less thermal damage as visible by less “char” at the time of surgery. This lower cutting temperature allows me to perform surgery without all the smoke and with no sacrifice in the ability to coagulate blood vessels."

"The PEAK Surgery System represents a quantum leap in technology. It cuts like a knife with minimal scarring and collateral damage. And it eliminates the time and confusion from using two separate instruments to precisely cut delicate tissues and to control bleeding."
-- Gregory S. Keller, M.D., Facial Plastic Surgeon, Santa Barbara, Calif., and Associate Clinical Professor and Co-Director Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship, University of California Los Angeles.
"We have been impressed with the reduced tissue charring and the ability to work close to delicate and sensitive tissues with the PlasmaBlade, which is especially important in gynecologic procedures in which the bowel, ureter and ovaries are close by."
-- Fermin F. Barrueto, chief of endoscopy and pelvic reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.
"I am a surgeon in New Hampshire - recently acquainted with the new PlasmaBlade. I have been a surgeon for thirty years and I think this is the best innovation I have seen! I truly believe in your product."
"I like the fact that the PEAK PlasmaBlade cuts in a fluid-filled field. It does not lose cutting and coagulation performance in these cases, and this is very beneficial."
"The ability to adequately cauterize tissue with the PlasmaBlade is at least equivalent to conventional electrosurgery with far less tissue damage. I believe that the PlasmaBlade will replace all conventional electrosurgical systems and minimize, if not alleviate, the need for a scalpel."
